More Bizarre Road Trip Behavior

More Bizarre Road Trip Behavior

My buddy dave snapped this photo last night as I was getting off a flight in Chicago… lucky he was able to keep his phone steady he was laughing so much…

that’s me, in the gaudy Red and White Scarf, at the earliest possible part of the Baggage Carousel. Not only is this ALWAYS where I am, but I never take my eyes off of the belt. Why? Because I play a stupid game with myself trying to predict how many bags it will take until mine shows up. Dave caught me in this moment. Anyone else do this?

For more nonsense like this, my previous blog explains this behavior : http://thepennternet.com/2014/01/07/pennvestigates-why-do-road-trips-make-me-mean/

  1. I think that’s my red bag. Umm. I post myself in the same position, but I count how many bags go by until mine pops out. It’s never been the first one. What the heck?

  2. While I feel that we are cosmically linked based on the previous post about road trips, I’ll disagree with you here. It’s not about predicting the number of bags, it’s about getting the bags as quickly as possible. If someone gets their luggage before me, then they’re going to be ahead of me (at the rental counter, paying for parking, whatever), and that’s just slowing me down.
