Guilt is a very human emotion, but one we believe is a wasted emotion. We work really hard as parents to overcome guilt, because it doesn’t serve a purpose. Our guilt-resistance powers have been tested lately with re-homing our precious Ruby, which we talked about in our Valentine’s Day podcast. We share an update and the emotional muscles we had to flex to keep the guilt at bay on this podcast.

When it comes to parenting, guilt seems to perk up at every stage. Mom guilt is so real that you can almost reach out and touch it. Although, Penn does share a moment with Lola that haunts him to this day. But here’s the thing: parents are human and humans are flawed. We share some tips that help us (and hopefully you) keep that nasty guilt emotion locked up in the dungeon where it belongs.
