New Year’s Resolutions Worth Keeping

Penn and I couldn’t be more opposite when it comes to making and keeping resolutions. I love to start the year with a vision board, lots of goals, and I am very public about what those are. I’ll tell anyone who will listen because the more I talk about it, the more accountable I can hold myself to actually keeping it. Penn doesn’t do New Year’s Resolutions. He makes resolutions on an ongoing basis and I rarely know about them until after he’s completed them. For being an extrovert, he’s very private when it comes to making a change. For being an introvert, I’m very vocal about it.

Funny how that works.

… Just Sayin’

This week on the podcast we heard from all of you about how you keep resolutions. In this weird week between Christmas and New Year’s, it was motivating to get your take on how to make a New Year’s resolution a success, including not making them at all! (Thanks Gary.) We also had some fun with a TikTok comment we got from a fan that lead to an analysis on the phrase “just saying.” For the record, you cannot say something terrible and then follow it up with that phrase to cancel the terrible out. Let’s make that a 2022 rule, shall we?

Listen to the end for our gigglefest and tell us how you keep resolutions!
