Most of our songs are written after conversations at the dinner table. We figure, if we’re talking about it you probably are too, right? One night, our topic focused on Halloween costumes for my soon to be 13-year-old daughter. She was searching for a Halloween costume based on storybook characters and found nothing but tube tops and thigh high boots.
Here’s the thing: If you want to dress as a sexy Mr. Rogers, you do you. Seriously. I will never shame a woman for wanting to wear a revealing outfit at anytime, much less on Halloween. That being said: My 13-year-old wants coverage and I support it.
Penn skipped out on dishes that night and went upstairs and wrote a song about how a being role model can be super attractive.
