It’s only halfway through November and it’s already been A MONTH. Luckily when times get tough, I have found my outlet (and it’s not even drinking, you guys.) When life gets heavy, my defense mechanism is Christmas. I noticed this about myself during COVID especially. I will never forget it was mid-July and things were feeling bleak. So I cranked up the Christmas music, snuggled on the couch, and watched an old Hallmark movie. Bliss.
Something about burying yourself in holiday cheer makes everything better, doesn’t it?
